Her Waters
Her waters pour..seeping out in puddles of sudden evaporation. She leans forward under the shower head, allowing the steam to wash away her secrets. She closes her eyes, imagining the places she could be. The memories she once had, the feeling of paradise when she gazed upon you. Her waters pour...scrubbing off the feeling of yesterday, bubbles soak her melanin skin, as she gently rinses away the lasting imprint of your fingertips. The curtain is closed, lights are off and the candle burns, she glistens when reminiscing on your kisses. Her waters pour. They told her to relax before she falls too hard. Now she is infatuated with you and clueless on what to do. Express out loud her intentions and just know that you will understand the real her. Or does she write it and know indirectly you will know her pen lately has only been driven towards you. Her waters pour, it’s been a journey bottling up all the feelings that burst through her chest just off the slightest gaze of you. She fell so hard, can’t even say it’s fast, it’s the pebbles of you. It was the 2nd time for her, when she realized you knew her body in ways no one could. The moments of showing her different, as she had encountered too many bad characters. Ones who tried to abuse the genuineness of her heart. She built a wall of protection as her waters pour, yet somehow you allowed them to shatter down. Infatuated with you, yet as sane as she can be. This secret I’ll keep to myself. As my waters pour I’ll continue to drive myself forward, serenity awaits me on the upper side. Missing the you she met before, the one who couldn’t get enough of her waters. The love she has for you will remain a secret....
