"I THOUGHT"

Edward Pope 1954 (Ohio)

"I THOUGHT" As the water starts 2 fall from my eyes. It is now that l must accept and realize. Just how much l love U. I thought...That l could step back and not say a word. When every day. Every hour. Every minute. Every second and every moment. My heart cries out 2 speak 2 U. I really don't want a precious moment 2 pass without reaching out 2 U. Somehow. Someway. Because your angelical love has a hold on me. And free from U l don't ever want 2 be. I thought...l could settle back and relax. And let TIME and the PAGES of TIME pass me by. But you're inside my brain like cells and membranes. You're so much a part of me. That l don't know where l end and U begin. It's been a LONG TIME since love has has a grip on me like this. I have no control over what's controlling me. And with each passing day. I long 2 get closer 2 U. So close that U could say l was your shadow. Or the sheets on your bed. Or the pillow's where U lay your head. I thought...And l thought wrong. But love is a beautiful thing. Something scared and wondrous from the ENDLESS TIME. My dark and lovely princess you're beautiful. And I'm glad there is U. Stay blessed. Shalom
