AN EVIL CHORUS

An evil chorus is bellowing
At night in a loathsome place,
Where nothing decent is ever born
And nothing good should ever stay.

A shrilling, shrieking chorus
Rings out soon after darkfall,
Terrorising the human residents
With their evil, monstrous call.

Malevolent beings join in
Throughout the haunted night,
While the sane all hide inside
While outsiders may die of fright.

Malignant bellowing rings out
Through the village square,
The villagers all cower together
Hoping it's just a nightmare.

A chorus of the inhuman
Echoing throughout the land,
Letting the human beings know
That the wicked are in command.

An evil chorus is bellowing
Maleficent through to the core,
Terrorising the populace
With vocalising that leaves you raw.

Nefarious midnight wailing
Resounding within your head,
Making you fear the darkness
Till you wish that you were dead.
