SHADOWY FIGURES CREEPING

Shadowy figures creeping around
Hoping to find people in the gloom,
Lost innocents outside wandering
Beneath the light of the demon moon.

Slinking slowly through the dark night
Hoping to find unwary walkers,
To follow them through the darkness
Like some preternatural stalker.

Through the dark and lonely night
Shadowy figures walking after you,
To sneak past you into your house
Then slowly follow up to your room.

Then round your room, they slowly sneak
Watching every move that you make,
Hoping soon to perform pandemonium
Until their monstrous needs are slaked.

Shadowy figures creeping around
Outside in the pitch-black night,
Hoping soon to find the guiltless
And to make them all die of fright.

Nothing living dares to move
In this dark and sinister place,
Only walking abominations
Like beings from deep outer space.

Faceless creatures walk the town
Looking for people lost outside,
Shadowy figures hoping to make it
The night the guileless folk all died.
