Too Soon

My Everyday

It’s been 7 years since you went away, my heart aches like it was just today.
Everyone says I should find comfort knowing you’re no longer in pain,
Maybe they are right, and I’m selfish to feel this way.

I still needed you, you left far too soon.
I had a million things I wanted to share with you.

I have always had a fear of riding a roller coaster thinking it might crash and I could die.  Your death has put me in that same seat of fear for an endless ride.
Never knowing each day how I'll survive. So if what they all say is true; that you are at peace no longer in pain, know that I love and miss you each and every second of the day.

When we meet again, my heart and soul you took with you I’ll be able to
Reclaim.

I love and miss you mom, without you I'll never quite be the same.
