When you know just exactly how it’s done.

Wake up in the morning and get well dressed,
Wear your smile and look your best.
Welcome the students as they come online,
With a “how do you do, hope you’re fine"!

Freedom from packing your breakfast or lunch,
Freedom from rushing out, as you munch.
Freedom from driving through traffic jams,
Freedom from catching those buses or trams!

You’re now a savvy work-from-home tutor,
Press a button and turn on your computer.
Google, Zoom or Teams - pick your techie tool,
These are your pals - novel and cool!

“Greetings my dear students” you sprightly call out,
“Just raise your hand if you have a doubt."
“Turn off cameras and mute your mikes “,
Every teacher chants, to those lil tykes!

What’s that screeching noise in the background,
It’s your cooker’s whistle making the sound.
To turn off your stove, to the kitchen you run,
While your kids have their moments of fun!

The maid strolls in with her booming voice,
You "shush" her and say "Don't make a noise".
The doorbell rings , it's the courier guy,
"Just leave it there", you say with a sigh!

You hand out your assignments for the kids to do,
While the parents thankfully smile at you.
The class is concluded without any bell,
"THIS WAS REAL FUN", all the kids yell!

It may not be as good as face-to-face,
But this is what we now need to embrace.
Online classes are the order of the day,
Just accept the challenge the happy way!!
