Why Thou Art So Far!

Each and every passionate word
erupted from thy heart core.
They acted on me,
comforted my heart sore.

Then thou wert inhabitant
of other alien land.
I wert committed
to strengthen motherland.

Very oft I heard
the death knell.
My allies wert
only deafening sound and noxious smell.

My life wert oscillating
in the battlefield.
Only thy passionate love
acted me like shield.

Now my eyes art brimmed with tears.
Thy letter is laid open.
I find every word, fainted,
Thou art far,
an abode of heaven.

I find thee
Out of millions,
twinkling very far
but thy letter,
laid open near, very near.
