Go Run
Miles before a sunrise,
Help a person grow wise,
With each step,
A new idea is met,
Given the freedom to be alone,
You’re out there on your own,
Your brain starts to fantasize,
As hopes and dreams are realized,
Reality begins to fades away,
New thoughts are here to stay,
Your mind escaping today,
New possibilities leading the way,
Whether it’s a form of meditation,
Or a path to relaxation,
Running is not just physical,
These concepts aren’t mythical,
Step by step and day by day,
Each one carrying you further away,
From the old you, you were yesterday,
So go out and make today,
the tomorrow you talked about yesterday.
Go run.
