HURT PEOPLE - HURT PEOPLE

Hurt people hurt people
we just keep hurting ourselves
Cause what we meant to say isn't really the way
we want either one to feel
Hurt people hurt people
and we just keep telling ourselves
It'll all go away just give it a day
so that both of us can heal
Hurt people hurt people
we throw up our sword and shield
we don't wanna let go of that heartfelt blow
when the pain cuts deeper than steel
Hurt people hurt people
our broken hearts won't mend
can't find a way to say the words we should say
When neither of us will bend
Hurt people hurt people
We do it every day
But if we open our hearts and let God do His part
We just might find a way
Hurt people hurt people
So God came from above
He paid a Great Price so here's some advice
Let's start learning to Love.
Come on Hurt People
God didn't want it this way.
Come on Hurt People
what does the bible say?
Come one Hurt people
God Loves me and you
Come on Hurt People
Let's Love like He'd want us to do.
