"Love Comes Walking In"

Kenneth Carson 1959 (Chicago)

"Love Comes Walking In"

I can name that tune in 3 notes.

Followed by that smile that lights your face and my heart.

And your eyes start to shine with that light from within.

And then "Love Comes Walking In"

I can hear the melody now.

Just as I see you sway and tap to the beat.

Your golden hair flows across your shoulders as you lean back ready to blow…

Then "Love Comes Walking In"

And the words tell me that you love me!

As you're swaying in my arms and singing in my ear.

And "Love Comes Walking In!"

About this poem

There are so many ways to love a woman! It seemed like every time I looked at you I found a new one. You singing your favorite VanHalen song, loving you helplessly!
