Just a tiny drop of dew

Managed to capture a beautiful view,
Of which, I'm sure everybody knew
But not many will admire it,
As it was just a tiny drop of dew.

What was so captivating,
Was the calmness with which it sat on that leaf
Without the fear of losing existence,
Soaked in so much relief!

With every ray of sunshine,
It glimmered so vividly
Like this was its moment to live,
And nothing was to follow immediately.

But as much as I was enjoying this view,
Deep down inside me, there was a sense of grief that grew
Thinking that the Sun will ultimately quash the beauty,
Of this tiny drop of dew.

But to my surprise,
Its beauty evolved with every sun kissed view
Oh! so beautiful was this,
Tiny drop of dew.

The lesson that I grasped there,
Was that life is so magnificent
But with our petty complexities,
We are only losing its essence.

We must treasure life,
As life is an art,
And live every moment,
Like it's just the start.
Do not obsess yourself with your surroundings,
As sometimes life is beautiful, when you learn to live apart.
