God's Love

You say you are a child of God
With an abundance of His love
But it wasn't there when my son died
For some reason it was absent
You gave me bible verses thinking
it would soothe my soul
And when you came to visit me
No talk of grief and pain
God's love was absent yet again
For broken hearted people
Who are crying out in anguish
Don't say "it's for a reason "
Take your judgement to the cross
And leave it at HIs feet
