The invisible purple

Wines in Thought

I watched the tracks in the snow
Where lavender had grown
Months before
Workers labored to
Grow, nurish, harvest, and extract
the oils, which aromas made men
Lust.
The colors of purple stemmed
flowers
Ones people do adore
are poperi and in leaves
Of tea, sugars sweeten
to sip.
