TO MY CANCER

To all my friends and foes
Present here
I’m enchanted to announce
That I’ve found the one
One who “has taken my breath
Far away”
Even beyond this phrase
I cannot wait to uplift its name
It has highlighted my eminence
In this unkind world by grace
It has ignited my body on hell fire
That I’m loosing my hair
A love like this
I’ve never seen before
That it has grown over every cell
Of my epidermis and corse
Even my therapist states
It has been magnanimous at some place
But this time it has been driven nuts
And it won’t leave without
You as appendage
I intently cannot wait
To acquaint y’all with the
Other half of my decided fate
But let me adore it for
A little more while
Until
My clock is ticking
For the left over sight
I cannot deduce when
I’m retiring from this hell of a ride
But satisfied that “my one”
Will be by my side
Let me apprise
“The one” of my afflicted life
CANCER malady
