Infatuation

Ketline Atieno 2000 (Kisumu)

As I walked my eyes glued on my phone
Something escaped my mind
Then I saw an Adonis man
Focused he escaped my attention
Then a sense of excitement hit me
I felt the urge of having him in my life
And then I wondered how I survived without him in my life
A feeling of burning passion towards him hit me that I couldn't control
I had never seen him for sure
But I probably wanted him

The urge of ripping his clothes off hit me
My lust for him weakened both my mind and body
Do I want to envisage a future with him?
Nah who want a boring love
I want something brief and to the point that is lust
His personality did not move me but his features drove me insane
I was sure i did not want to spent the rest of my life with him
But I wanted him, I mean my whole body wanted him
I had to get a way to use my sexual tension to fulfil my passion
But then I realized I wanted something that lasts
I remembered the vital player in infatuation is lust
Swelling hearts rarely speak, they are weak to speak
So they keep quiet as souls mislead us
I need someone romantic with a dirty mind and high standards
I want to be treated like  a lady and ravaged in private
I want to be wooed in public
So acknowledge the unreasoned  passion towards someone.

About this poem

It's about an intense but short-lived admiration towards someone. I have a crush on a stranger, from the first sight. I really want him.
