Twilight's Farewell Haiku

Claudia Krizay 1956 (Washington DC)

Twilight’s Farewell Haiku

Sapphire toned skylight
The moon comes out from hiding.
I hold in my dreams.

My tears, iridescent-
Read this song within my eyes,
Never looking back.

Quiet of this night,
As reflected in the stars-
Nights to remember.

Tonight, rest in peace.
May the starlight surround you,
On your journey home.

Towers to the skies,
Harmony and peace of mind-
I give you these dreams.
