WORLD ON FIRE

In a future not far off
I see a world on fire,
As war turns into holocaust
We'll all burn upon the pyre.

In this world post-apocalypse
Foul creatures will walk the Earth,
Human and inhuman monsters
Will encircle its entire girth.

Demons like you have never seen
Will walk the planet for sure,
Fiends out of your horror tales
Travellers, Ghouls, and Manticore.

Abominations come to life
To fulfill your most fevered dreams,
Blue Men, Green Men, Hypno too
Beings to make a strong man scream.

In the awful time that is at hand
Very few dare to stand up tall,
Most cower in their basements
Afraid to journey outside at all.

Murder, mayhem, even rape
Will all then proliferate,
Crimes of passion everywhere
Racial crimes of hate.

As the world is tumbling down
Biker gangs will rule the roost,
Breaking into homes for fun
To abuse, to use, to loot.

Totalitarian rulers will emerge
Stormtroopers surely will abound,
To knock society off its feet
And then to keep it truly down.
