To Be one

To be one, one must first be two
As time goes by two intertwined like ivy creeping up a wall.
Underneath the plush leaves of the creeping Ivy lies  what is usually unseen, a maze of branches some  are thick and strong while others seem to be thin and weak yet both serve a greater purpose.
Without the strong, thick branches the ivy would not be able to creep up the wall and without the thinner branches the plush leaves would have no foundation to hold onto.
The two must work together in order to achieve the beautiful end results, thus causing the two to be one.
