Wind Of Time

Look to the sky words pass threw lips ask why
Why is there famine
Why is there hate
Why can't we congregate
Why can't we Celebrate

Look to ourselves words pass threw lips speaking truths
Truths that we misspent our youth
Truths that we could give more to what we do
Truths that we come together once a week to him do we speak telling of our flesh that is weak
Truths that life is not only for play

Look to the past wonder how it has gone by like the blink of an eye
To the past where lessons have been learned even without knowing why
To the past where honor was earned with every right choice that was applied
To the past where good times will always be alive
To the past to reflect on why we survived

Thinking about the future and wondering what will be
What more in life will we see
What ways will we succeed
What more can we achieve
The wind of time is blowing by,
Blowing like a leaf on a breeze
Twirling and spinning with ease going wherever it pleases
And now to the sky we fly
No more wondering what purpose we had in life
No more doubtful thoughts of what we have achieved
Eternal peace is all that's left to see
