The Night Fairy

Gracefully she dances thru the midnight sky
Mesmerizing every living being she passes by.
Every sunset she begins her  flight
She is a well known creature of the night
Mishevieously she laughs when she creates a fuss
As she prances by spreading her magic dust
Little do most people know, that every night
She has just one important goal
Silently she listens for their cries
And in and out of lil girls dreams she flies
Turning their bad thoughts into good
Protecting them proudly as any nignt fairy would
As the darkness fades  with the morning light
She knows its time to disappear from sight
Peacefully she will sleep thru the day
Listening to the tinkling laughter of lil girls at play.
