To be the outsider

To be the outsider. Ive never felt welcome where i go. No one talks to me so i rarely hear a human voice. Life  is quiet except machines groaning as they do their task.  I have never invited to a wedding so i never had a chance to be best man.  I go to the store and say hello to everyone. Some smile like their happy that someone noticed them. Spending hours playing a videogame and no one complaining i play too much. What are we becoming? Will all of us become the one not invited? The stranger no one recalls?

About this poem

Isolation is the virus but what happens with people being in isolation? People going insane?
