Baptised

Meshack Bwoyele Keya 1960 (Vihiga)

I wrote a poem and became a poet.
And got entangled in the net.
Yet writing a novel made me a novelist.
For writing I could not resist.
One time I became a blogger.
Simply because of a blog I was a lodger.
All names baptised on one man.
Just because he span a yarn.

Do not be ever idle
And never bow down to an idol
Do something worthwhile
As your time away you while
A freelancer you may materialise
Yet greatness you realise.
All names baptised on one man.
Just because he span a yarn.

Walk your path
And baptismal you bath
Tap your blessings
To enjoy your tidings
My pen is my pal
It earns me my pay
All names baptised on one man.
Just because he span a yarn.
