to the reader

my fingers glide over the keyboard,
frenzied tapping reveals word after word.
another line, another paragraph.
another idea comes alive, emerging in the world as a flower or a raindrop.
a teardrop.
a bundle of emotion wound tight.
a neat little package delivering the contents of a heart, a soul, a mind you’ll never know as well as I do.
secret desires buried deep uncoil and rise towards the light.
laid side by side, perfect lines of script marching down the page.
syllables and syntax string you along,
entangling you in my essence,
inviting you further into the dreamscape of my design.
