MY WISH

If I could flirt with destiny,
may I retain my sanity
and cling to my memory
of His blood shed for me.

If I could travel back to the past,
may I play on His ground so vast,
and plea for the present to last
before the future beckons me to pass.

If I could stoop and see the declivity
of the passage of possibility,
may the wisdom to choose the way
lead me to His realm with no delay.

For the zero hour is approaching,
then there will be no more waiting
for those who long for His coming.
And may I not miss my calling
when the gate of heaven is closing.
