SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT

Into the horrid silent night
Werewolfs are baying at the moon,
Evil stalking from the shadows
The bugler plays a maddening tune.

It's a silent night, a deadly night
Nothing living dares to breathe,
Hiding in the snow or thickets
Waiting for predators to leave.

Abominations slowly slither
Across the cold and white land,
Hoping soon to feed on others
In this night, so drear and bland.

Horrors softly stalking this town
Hunting members of the human race,
Hoping soon to all be feasting
In this horrid, blood-soaked place.

Leviathans tall as skyscrapers
Shambling across this evil town,
Hoping soon to find a late walker
To slowly hunt and then bring down.

It's a silent night, a deadly night
Where only monsters dare to roam,
Human beings with any commonsense
Are safely locked up in their homes.

A blood-red moon is leering madly
Down upon the landscape in white,
Hoping soon to see lone travellers
Trapped outside in the unholy night.
