"Everything"

Stranger 2001 (Sialkot)

I mean it when I say you are everything to me,
You are the spark of flames
To my cold winter night,
The waves to my lonely sea
The shadow to my dimming light,
You are the path
To my lost soul,
The echo to my mountains
You are the cool wind in my summer night,
You are the warm sun to my snowy morning
You are the chirp of the bird to which I would want to wake up to,
You are the stars to which I don't mind falling asleep while counting
The supporting pillars to my crumbling house,
You are the flowers to my garden
The moon to my blinding darkness,
The rain in my deserted life
The touch to my heart,
The courage to my fears
The love to my everlasting hatred,
My favorite memory, my beloved thought
You are not anyone but everyone,
You exist and that's enough of a reason for me to love you
You are the cure to my broken heart,
The worth to my existence
You are you,
And that's enough

Stranger

I wasn't into poetry before I started telling blank pages my feelings. I like to refer myself as "Stranger" more…
