O’ Gate Keeper

jody l cooke 2021 (north carolina)

We come to you children of mid-earth
We are the underground world of lost souls
We reach to the stars with flames
That burn out of control
O’ Gate Keeper tell me what you see
Can you look into the future and past?
And how things will be
With bleeding hearts and blind eyes that
Can never see
We are the ones who walk the forbidden
Path of magic behind closed doors
O’ Gate Keeper can you set us free?
For we look into your fiery eyes
And know you hold the key
Now our time has come
We hide from the shadows no more
The spell is cast and broken spirits
Float across the floor
Our ships have crashed alone
The bloody shores
We are condemned forever more
