Bold and Free

jody l cooke 2021 (north carolina)

We are all poets of passion and desire,
Our words speak of love and heartaches
That brings down hell fire

That burns us with its flame of lost
Souls that call out our names,
We are all fools of the game

So I say unto thee be bold and free
Unto this land from the mountains
To the seas

There my friends we will find
The key you know we all must walk this
Line for a new day will come

And the sun will shine for all mankind,
So I say unto thee be bold and free

About this poem

poets are so full of passion and desire,of heartaches and pain feelings of love and its freedom that open the door to the mind for we all are bold and free
