FROM BEYOND THE VOID

From beyond the void of space
Insectile abominations fly,
From out of space, out of time
Reaching Earth in the dead of night.

Screeching like a banshee chorus
They dive down to cause mayhem,
A tidal warm of monstrous fiends
Which humanity just cannot stem.

Swooping down on fleeing people
To carry them up into the sky,
Then dropping them screaming down
Delighting as each person dies.

Hunting, stalking, quickly feeding
Upon men and women that they catch,
Impregnating human females
With horrid larvae soon to hatch.

Killing people with lethal stingers
That shoot up along their backs,
Like some kind of giant scorpions
Pincers reared, ready to attack.

Black exoskeletons protect them
Even from nuclear weapons,
As they ravage entire nations
Till humanity is almost gone.

From beyond the void of space
Arachnoidal monsters appeared,
Ravaging, devouring human beings
Until extinction has has finally neared.

THE END
