Autum

Johnny Akl 1972 (Beirut)

Autumn is here again the chilly breeze of September caressing your hair.As we walk on the golden pavements of a lonely street, falling leaves from a willow like falling dreams from our memories, your hand melting into mine!
The wind murmuring a love song to the dancing trees and the shy sun hiding behind the clouds waiting for summer to come home.
Three emigrant little birds left their nest I guess they will never come back .I am leaving too...
To a place where you will be my country, your body my temple and your smile my only wish. Where your heart will be the sun of my days, your face the moon of our lover nights and your whisper my guardian angel
Where your lips will be the sweetest stream I ever taste your cheeks the fruits of paradise and your eyes the woods of enchantment.
It is where I want to live forever ……………………….. my love!
