The encounter with Death
The sky filled with clouds
As droplets drizzled down
Death came to visit a girl so sad
But this answer made him mad
"Some other day
when I'm very hurt.
Not today
I'll stand up"
Death pulled the girl against her will
After realizing after a moment or two
Death no longer wanted to kill
Now Death withdrew.
The girl now walks a golden path.
Following her dreams without wrath
Yesterday Death came to tea
I too shall take my leave
