Drug

Sober I will be.
I've fallen to my knee...
I've cried out Heaven Save Me.

I've stumbled and fallen
SOMEONE help me I've been sinking.

Don't you even get an inkling
Can't you see what's happened to me?

I've walked away finally
My legs are concrete
Inside I'm dying

There is no up and there is no down.
Simply here. Simply now.

What a painful concept for me
Don't you see

I've survived only looking past today
And into tomorrow.

I'm on the edge again.
Dangling my feet
Dare I jump
Into this sea

It calls to me
For a way to escape the pain..

I miss you
I miss me
I'm trying
Stop holding this over me

I'm not right but I'm not wrong. This has been a life of misery

In my darkest night
I'm in the abyss

Drifting toward temptation
Praying for salvation

Losing all sense of redemption
Reality is gone

Don't you see
I'm alone within my mind and it terrifies me

Living someone elses life
Beyond a shadow of a doubt

I'm hoping to escape
Just one day

Oh my god you'll never know what hold you have on me.

Laura Haines

I'm a 38 year old mother, I have a 12 year old son and an 11 year old daughter. I've survived a lot of trauma and tragedy, with that being said I escaped but barley with my sanity. I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD). This disorder is hard to manage but I've learned when I'm depressed the only cathartic and therapeutic thing I can do is write. I have learned I must always express myself in a positive way. I've spent my whole life dealing with the negative, I'm bringing on the positive more…
