Is it even worth it?

I wish i was never conceived.

I wish i could just stop existing.

What is this world i am in?

What is this state i am in?

Stuck between life and death.

With each passing moment decaying my will to take another breath.

What is the point of it all?

When one day all of us will have to answer death's call.

The true mysteries of the universe and existence left unfounded,

the futility of it all preventing me from being grounded.

Everybody is a narcissist,

the ones spewing out the truths simply dismissed.

Considering themselves special on a pale blue dot,

it's all nothing but a morbid plot.

Nothing can ever be truly established,

and yet humanity fears being banished.

is it all just a poor joke, i wonder,

as i marvel about the horrible blunder,

Wishing i never existed,

Wishing i was never born,

as i take the plunge into the roaring thunder.

About this poem

This is my first poem and contains some mature themes like death. It also obviously hints at some anti natalist views and is like a depiction of how a similar minded individual views the society.
