Seeking her

I never knew how it felt
Till the day I fell in love
I stay awake throughout the night
Carving your lovely face in my heart
Days keep on passing by, mesmerizing
Every curve and swell of you
Hoping to treasure you forever
When I will be gone

I feel no pain, no joy in my life
For I know, you will never be mine
But as destiny has it
I am here to live in another world
Chasing the shadows in the desert of love
Waiting for the end to come
I fathom you shedding a tear for me

You can end all this I believe
Just smile once at me
As you would have, had I been your man
I promise, I will fade into the oblivion
Never to surface again
And you know it too
As I would be a dead man
