The ballad of Desert

Rages a sea deep inside
Bounded by the walls of nothingness
Existence denied for ages
Freedom to dissolve in abyss

Surrounds all that lives
Harbours all that surrounds
Wearing a wet shroud
It dies everyday to live

Losing part of it day by day
To the chaos, which is pregnant
Struggles to break the shackles
Afraid, void will only grow

Over the vast spread
Sail so many strangers
Cut through him to reach everyday
On the shores of oblivion

Bleeds it, in the dark…..so often
The wounds have lost meaning
To the eye of existence
Seems, it has ceased to exist
