FROZEN TERROR

Frozen terror comes lumbering
Toward the people in a frozen waste,
Knowing it can easily outlast them
It keeps lurching on without haste.

An Antarctic creature lost in time
That roamed the wastelands before man,
Hunting seals, penguins, and mammoths
Long before the modern age began.

Buried alive within a glacier
The creature slept for many aeons,
Awakened by drilling by Man
Now he intends to see humanity gone.

Gone completely from the Earth
Or at least the blue-white wasteland,
Where the Homo Sapiens now reside
Till he murders each woman or man.

A frozen abomination slaughters
Everything that invades his home,
Anything that crosses the icy reaches
That the monster calls its own.

A frozen terror slowly stalking
Trespassers within his frozen clime,
Those who think to take his homeland
That he's owned since before all time.
