Lizette (R.I.L)

Loveable in all ways
Intelligent to the tee
Zany as can be
Entertaining everyday
Terrific in so many ways
Tough cookie I must say
Energetically spontaneous that everyone can see

My worst nightmare has come true
A monster has taken you from me
I'm a disaster without you
I ask myself how this could be
How could I let you leave?
You were my pride and joy
It's just too hard to believe
There are so many days I'd like to deploy
Because every day I sit and grieve
I stay up late thinking about you
I can't get over the fact that you're gone
I hate the fact that I'm always down and blue
I can't call or text you anymore
I can't hold you in my arms
And give you kisses galore
I am trying to stay strong
And not to anything wrong
For you I'll do it for your sister and brothers
It's going to be hard
But I know I can do it
Knowing your Angelic presence is with me.
You're with your Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Great Grandfather's and Great Grandmother's
And I know you all are having a blast up there as it should be
I Miss You like crazy
I Love You Baby Girl
To The Moon and Back
When I see you again
I will then get my Kiss and Hug from you!

About this poem

This is a dedication to my Daughter who was killed by an intoxicated monster On August 22, 2015. The monster got only 13 years for killing her, her friend and her puppy. He was released on July 26th, 2020 on parole because Gov. Newsome in CA released a lot of murderers and people from prison due to the virus going around. That was the excuse to let out murderers from prison. It's not fair but unfortunately the Judge gave him a plea bargain before knowing the facts. She was 21 years old and had a lot going for her. There is so much to the story that people are not speaking up. It's ok because this monster will get what is coming to him.
