The sight of you calms me
 The turmoil fades away
 The sound of your voice soothes me
 Anxiety no longer has a place
 Your tender touch warms me
 From the cold that absence brings
 Your scent with excitement fills me
 Anticipation of worldly things
 The taste of your kiss overwhelms me
 In passion rife with flame
 You are the giver of vision
 My inspiration to dream
 Your love shames me of past complacency
 For I have survived in a comfort zone
 Now there is an urgency
 To accomplish that which I had never known
 You are the most important love in my life
 My soul's completion until the end
 You are my life, my love, my reason
 You are my best friend
