Waiting for this rain to subside

Under the rain, I stood
Fully drenched in my pain,
It was heavy and cold
That chilled me down to my spine.

Rain that poured
With all its might
For countless days
Drowning all the place.

The place I built
With all my feat;
Working day and night
Never out-of-sight.

The rain took it all down
Without much effort
Spreading its cold arms
Crushing with all its strength.

Oh rain, I wait
For you to retreat
So I can create
My invincible land.
