LET US PAINT A NEW SHEET

Will you come when I call
to rescue me from my fall?
For in my sound sleep,
the steps are too steep,
and the water is too deep.

Walk across the torrential stream,
if you dare,
Wake me up from the scary dream,
if you care.

And when our eyes meet,
let us paint a new sheet.
Brush it with glorious colours,
let the hours sing the splendours
of His glory and grandeur.
