I Look at You

Robert Richardson 1980 (Jonesboro, AR)

Sometimes, I look at you while you are thinking, dreaming, wondering, sleeping and I can't help but to wonder if you know just how lucky I feel that I have you in my life? I have wanted and needed you for so many years. Just like the moon needs the stars, a flower needs water and soil, a soul needs love and compassion, a dolphin needs the ocean, an animal needs love and shelter, my soul has needed you. I look at you, and it is ever so clear just how happy I am. My search is no more. We finally found each other. There are many ups and downs in life, with many paths to choose. I am so honored that you are willing to grab my hand and walk by my side as we make our own path in life. I am honored to call you my man, my lover, and my best friend.

Robert Richardson

Robert Richardson was born and raised in Arkansas by his great-grandmother, Ruby. He lived his early childhood in Lake City, Arkansas until 1993 when he was 13 years. He then moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas, where he discovered his love for singing and being in the limelight. Robert moved to Nashville, Tennessee when he was just 19. He lived in the general area for the next 20 years. In that time, Robert, was part of many plays and musicals while in Tennessee. My Three Angels, A Christmas Carol, The Adams Family, Next to Normal, just to name a few. Robert wore many hats in the theater community. He was not only a singer/actor, he did lights, sound, props, stage-managed, and even directed. His love for the art and those involved could not only be seen, but could be felt any time you were around him. Robert currently lives close to where he started in life, Northeast Arkansas. He has recently been quoted saying, “I am now getting to live my best life from a second chance beginning.” more…
