Double Life

Double life

Why, lie to me, knowing your living a double life.
Those several strikes have brought you down like the dirty cotton balls, grandma has in her closet.
Only to find out you have betrayed something so beautiful just to live a double life.
Why, lie when honesty is pure? Just so you can live this unhealthy insane of a life.
These walls have caved in suffocating, your lungs and inhaling the dust just to live this double life.
Your brain is spinning around in circles, just to figure out why in the world you want to live this double life.
The brains cells can't handle the mental anguish in one life but you try to handle a double life.
Broken promises, false hopes all your words are in the air with no attachments.
You can't even be inquisitive, so how can anyone follow your hypocrite lead.
Spell it out, be intuitive, use your brain cause lying anit your thing.
I'm never going to stop being me because that's what got me this far.
Living that highly deadly life, gets you no where but six feet under.
Now, you got me in tears because I feel betrayed, hurt, disappointed, and I don't know what to think.
I trusted you with everything in me.
Everyone is always lying to me just to live a double life.
Why is it always me?
That double life can't be.
