Claims To Make

Claims to make heard to state,
From those who say they stay...
Prepared for whatever,
God chooses to do.
But refuse to obey a listening to hear,
Messages sent.
With opened eyes yet with closed ears.
Refusing clear messages that appear.

To then wonder why,
In visits or calls made to ministers...
Priests, and Bible readers quoting,
From scriptures learned to repeat.
What difference to them does it make,
If they pray to God,
But God does not answer their prayers.

'God works in mysterious ways.'

'This I know.
But how mysterious,
Can the ways of God be?
When I pray that my wants and needs,
Be directly sent to me?'

'Perhaps what you think,
Are wants to need.
God has repeatedly sent you,
Who you needed...
To listen.
With your undivided attention given!'

'What sense does that make?'

'To me?
None.
My wants and needs to have them given.
Could be different than yours to receive!'

'What are you saying?'

'Many pray not to listen.
Or ask of God,
What it is they most need to learn!
