Halloween

Witches and Ghosts and big yellow pumpkins
Dark spooky corners, black cats on the prowl
Goblins and ghouls and Frankenstein monsters
Black bats flying by and Werewolves that howl

Little Vampires and Princesses and Clowns come running
“Trick or Treat! Smell my Feet!” they cry at the door
Adults pay the ransom with fists full of candy
And the critters run off to gather some more

Halloween is when children go begging for sweets
Halloween is the time for chills in the night
Halloween is for children dressed up so scary
Halloween gives grown-ups a terrible fright
