A Teacher

Tanisha Bamnodkar 2008 (Indore)

There are many jobs, to earn a living,
But there is only one, in which you learn loving.

A teacher is a second mother,
She is a friend, a mentor.
She always guides you to the right path,
And loves you with all her heart.

She is the one who can calm the most raging mood,
The one, who will do you good.
She always thinks of your betterment,
Her heart filled with pure sentiment.

We can tell her all small things,
She prepares us to fly, and provides the wings.
We should learn to love her, to respect her,
Because like a teacher, there is no other.
