The Lord, my shepherd

So the psalmist David had this to say.
Psalms twenty three is no child's play.
Only the Lord be the shepherd of my life.
Never will I want for anything even in strife.
In green pastures he makes me lie.
His paths make me beside quiet waters ply.
He does refreshen my ailing soul.
He guides me along the right paths in full.
All these be for his name's sake.
My walk through the darkest valley though I take.
I am not afraid of any lacking evil.
For you are with me to keep away the devil.
Am comforted by the staff and rod.
The table in the presence of my enemies be prepared by God.
My head is annointed by oil.
My cup overflows and does not boil.
Two things will follow me; goodness and love.
I will forever dwell in the house of the Lord prepared from above.
