Childhood Memories

Free verse
Where will you find me
Hiding amongst the leaves
Giggling at the hairy caterpillar
Running aimlessly around sand dunes
Wind kissed rosey red cheeks
Eyes leaping from cloud to cloud
A puffy dragon and a floating starfish
In the long grass of summer
Making friends with snails and ladybirds
In the attic window wrapped up warm
Snowflakes waltzing like dancers
Where will you find me
Keep looking i’ll be there

About this poem

Weather and seasons had a bearing on my childhood and i remember it so very fondly
