I'm Sorry / I Apologize

Joseph Cooper 1950 (VICKSBURG, MS)

Saying that you're sorry after speaking your mind, doesn't change the fact of how you think and about who or what you believe.

So many statements are given on their personal views. These are given truly and without remorse.

Saying ' I apologize for my actions or I'm sorry ' after the fact are starting to become a trend in speaking our mind.

What is said is said. Why change your mind. Behind those closed doors you are who you really are without the mask.

That inner circle you support will never change because it's your own point of view. You are loyal to your cause. Never to break chain.

About this poem

So many times, we see people giving negative or insensitive views. When put on the spot it's " I'm sorry or I apologize ". Knowing that it's wrong doesn't make it right. They know better.
