Insecurities

Where does one start,
Where does one end,
the future I hold,
Does not have a will to bend.

Where I am,
and where I go,
shall surely show,
the unfollowed.

Insecurities I rely on,
Insecurities I hide,
but one with many insecurities,
That I do not deny.

Where one sees ahead,
I see behind,
a tragic loss of words,
and a father going blind.

His malice and illness,
and troubled family galore,
have many battles to face,
But mine have no more,
For we flourish on our goals,
And live without troubles anymore.

For my insecurities come from many,
Yet no one at all,
for my insecurities are battles,
From people attacking my downfall.

To see me rise,
They hate to admit,
it swirls in them,
Like a bad trip.

Lost down the rabbit hole,
Seems to be the same routine,
to flourish and rise above,
They've yet seen,
so instead,
they try to use me.

To write what is or what was,
To stop the silent screams,
To no longer lose in life,
To see the unseen,
Has always been my dreams.

Not just a dreamer but a see-er,
A see-er of all,
a psychic native princess,
Heard your call.

I heard your cry and came to see,
What all the fuss was about,
But insecurities from my dreams,
Is what you've always been about.

My curiousness was not of ponder,
Nor of my concern,
You saught me out,
Just to shout,
and hurt me once again.

My insecurities will finally leave,
and be of bother no more,
For insecurities are only dreams,
from those unwilling to see,
For me the infamous D'e.

About this poem

I am one who knows all too well about insecurities and loss in life, I hope what I have to share inspires others to be able to move past theirs and create a better future for themselves.
