Affair

L.A. White 1965 (Idaho)

Silly Sally had an affair with Sleeping Sam
Clair Der e'er said she seen Sleeping Sam slip over to Silly Sally
Foursquare she said bearing all to Sleeping Sam
Mayfair said that Silly Sally bare to show all to Sleeping Sam
Sleeping Sam wore beachwear and neckwear
To report repair Silly Sally knitwear elsewhere
He pick fair with footwear to make slip off when he got to Silly Sally’s place
Silly Sally couldn't wait to have an affair with Sleeping Sam on the deckchair
The armchair from the deckchair broke
Silly Sally swore she wouldn't tell her husband Blair how it got broken
The town square knew about the affair between Silly Sally and Sleeping Sam
No one from the town square was going to tell Silly Sally’s husband Blair
For they knew what Blair would do to both of them
Silly Sally declared she would swear not to say anything
About she and Sleeping Sam to her husband Blair
The affair on the deckchair was never brought up again
Because everyone swore never to speak of it again.
The moral of how the affair went down between Silly Sally and Sleeping Sam.
